The big news this week is the first retail sales of ‘Stockton & Stratton’, the range of top-quality meat that we launched this year. We started the company for the same reasons that farmers across the country are starting their own businesses – we wanted to have more control over what we sold and how we sold it, and to make some money out of it, too! We can choose what breeds we run, how we raise and slaughter them and who we sell to. By selling direct to local businesses and individuals, we can sell a top-quality product at prices that people can afford, and keep the food miles as low as possible.
